Today I got started on my trailer for my TedTalk. At first, I was nervous about how to put it together because I do not have much experience working with videos. When Mr. Potts showed us examples of past work, it made me even more nervous because those videos looked amazing and difficult to put together.
However, I just discovered a program called "Animato" and it honestly makes me feel so much better.
This program makes putting together pictures and videos so easy! I know that my end result is going to be something that I am proud of.
While doing research for my project, I came to a better understanding as to why procrastination happens. It is interesting to see other people's perspective on it and some of the different forms they do it. I was having trouble getting started on a script for my TedTalk. I do not know whether it would be a great idea to make a script or to just do the talk off the top of my head. Putting together a script however seems to be difficult and I do not want my TedTalk to sound like a reading. I will have to figure out what to do by the next Genius Hour.
Many of the questions that I had were easy to answer through a couple Google searches. I feel more like a Tech Whiz as each week passes because I am no longer uncomfortable with anything being learnt in class! I can't believe we are approaching the end of this course soon. :(
